Best Dressed

Fashion and interior design

There has always been a connection between fashion and interiors and as a lover of both, my guilty pleasure is viewing the homes of fashion influencers. As much as our choice of clothes showcases our personality, seeing what design style lies behind closed doors is too much to resist.

Here are some of my top best dressed women and their stylish homes.

Deborah Brett, Fashion journalist

Splitting her time between fashion and art – and two equally stylish homes in London and Ibiza. Deborah Brett’s love for nature and connection to the outside is very much evident in her homes.

Jenna Lyons, Fashion Designer

Most known for her creative force behind J. Crew, Jenna Lyons’s unexpected fashion combinations can be seen in how she has designed her homes. Always elegant, anchored in heritage and always a splash of bold.

Paula Sutton, Lifestyle Influencer

Ex-fashion editor for Elle Magazine, Paula Sutton’s excellant eye for detail and design seeps through to her glorious Norfolk home. A fount of stylish inspiration on everything from entertaining to decorating.

Amanda Cutter, Founder of Cutter Brooks Shop

A former-fashion director of Barneys New York, Amanda Cutter now calls home England and is where she renovated and decorated her family home so beautifully. Her creative interests of both the fashion and interior worlds have brought her to opening a shop that sells a mixture of interesting pieces from independent makers, alongside carefully sourced clothing and antiques.

Linda Rodin, Beauty entrepreneur, model and former stylist.

Linda Rodin is known for her signature bright lipstick and fantastic style. Her New York apartment, which she shares with her poodle, Winky, is full of personality and life. A wonderful array of antiques, art, plants and more plants and always a dash of humour.
